  78. The Internet Connection is pleased to present John Perry Barlow. John Perry
  79. Barlow is a retired Wyoming cattle rancher, a lyricist for the Grateful Dead,
  80. and co-founder of the Electronic Frontier Foundation, an organization which
  81. promotes freedom of expression in digital media. He is a writer and lecturer
  82. on subjects relating to the virtualization of society and is a contributing
  83. editor and writer for numerous publications included "Wired" and Mondo 2000.
  84. He is a recognized commentator on computer security, Virtual Reality,
  85. digitized intellectual property, and the social and legal conditions arising
  86. in the global network of connected digital devices.

  88. He is probably the only former Republican County Chairman in America willing
  89. to call himself a hippie mystic without lowering his voice, and though he was
  90. recently declared by the "Utne Reader" to be among "100 Visionaries Who Could
  91. Change Your Life, " he is generally content to work on changing his own.
